According to these guidelines, a car tyre must meet specific criteria to qualify for repair services. The punctured area must not exceed 6 mm in diameter, and there must not be exposed cords. Additionally, the tread depth must be a minimum of 1.6 mm (the legal minimum), and there must not be any inner or outer bulges present. Visible damage on the tyre beads is also not permitted, as well as major damage on the carcass, sidewalls, or treads of the tyres.
